Mission/Mandate
OUR MISSION
Promoting Inclusion for adults with a disability.
OTEC serves adults with disabilities, including individuals with physical, intellectual, developmental, and sensory disabilities. Many of our participants face challenges related to mobility, communication, independent living, and employment opportunities.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers them to build skills, enhance social connections, and improve overall well-being.
Through our programs, we provide accessible resources, adaptive tools, and tailored support to help participants achieve greater independence and community integration. We also collaborate with caregivers, families, and service providers to ensure a holistic approach that meets the diverse needs of the individuals we serve.
OUR MANDATE
To provide individualized training to enhance self-sufficiency.
To coordinate participant placements within the Community and workforce.
As a Community Resource: To develop partnerships with government, non-government, and private sector entities.
To advocate on behalf of the participants to be productive members of their community.
